چکیده
The treatment of polluted industrial flow remains a relevant topic for the purpose sustainable development and improvement general state environment. removal particulate matter, especially their fine ultra-fine fractions, from gas flow, is an urgent task, but it poses many challenges demands purification technology. This paper presents results first stage research using newly developed cleaning device operating by complex principle, which consists new generation two-stage centrifugal filtration electro-filter. rate air was varied 0.3 to 1.16 m/s at inlet corresponds yield 53 m3/h 205 m3/h. maximum pressure drop 255 26 Pa. Research has shown that efficiency removing matter up 99.7% particles 0.3–0.5 µm in size 200 rate.

Investigating the efficiency of chemical coagulation/Electro-Fenton process in the removal of organic matter from pharmaceutical industry wastewater
Background and Objective: Wastewater from pharmaceutical industry has high chemical oxygen demand as a result of the presence of organic drugs and antibiotics. In order to meet the environmental requirements, several treatment methods like chemical and electrochemical methods have been widely applied due to their high ability to remove organic compounds from pharmaceutical wastewater. Therefore...
متن کاملNumerical Study of Gas-solid Flow in a Cyclone Separator
This paper presents a numerical study of the gas-powder flow in a typical Lapple cyclone. The gas flow is obtained by the use of the Reynolds stress model. The resulting pressure and flow fields are verified by comparison with the measured results and then used in the determination of powder flow that is simulated by the use of a Stochastic Lagrangian model. The separation efficiency and trajec...
متن کاملEffects of Alfalfa Particle Size on Ensalivation Rate, Chewing Efficiency, and Functional Specific Gravity of Particulate Matter in Hereford Steers
Six ruminally fistulated Hereford steers (body weight=414±13 kg) were used in a switch back design to determine whether two particle sizes of alfalfa hay (18.75 and 4.65 mm theoretical cut length) influenced salivary secretion during eating. The experiment carried out in two 26-d periods, with 11-d of adaptation to ration, followed by 5 d for determining the level of voluntary feed intake, 7-d ...
متن کاملEfficiency of Respirator Filter Media against Diesel Particulate Matter: A Comparison Study Using Two Diesel Particulate Sources.
Diesel engines have been a mainstay within many industries since the early 1900s. Exposure to diesel particulate matter (DPM) is a major issue in many industrial workplaces given the potential for serious health impacts to exposed workers; including the potential for lung cancer and adverse irritant and cardiovascular effects. Personal respiratory protective devices are an accepted safety measu...
متن کاملUltrafine particulate matter exposure augments ischemia-reperfusion injury in mice.
Epidemiological studies have linked ambient particulate matter (PM) levels to an increased incidence of adverse cardiovascular events. Yet little is definitively known about the mechanisms accounting for the cardiovascular events associated with PM exposure. The goal of this study was to determine the effects of ultrafine (<0.1 microm) PM exposure on ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury. ICR mice ...
