چکیده
Abstract Studies on stress wave propagation across persistent joints have been conducted extensively. Nevertheless, there exists a consensus that non-persistent are widely and densely distributed, which profound impact in jointed rock masses. A boundary integral equation method is suggested this paper to investigate the characteristics of transmitted field for case single joint. The displacement continuity discontinuity boundaries combined method. presented current study applicable analysis with arbitrary incident angles. Then, taking joint arranged only one segment as an example, applicability dealing problems verified by comparing results those from discrete element analytical methods. Subsequently, parametric studies carried out, including effects joint-segment length, rock-bridge frequency angle wave. result indicates existence makes different joint, because scattered produced during process propagation. amplitude may be amplified evidently some regions spatial distribution pattern transmission coefficient closely related length wavelength.
