Neoclassical Ion Transport in the Edge of Axially - Symmetric Arbitrary Cross - Section Tokamak with Plasma
The theoretical and experimental study of the neoclassical ion transport in edge tokamak plasmas are nowadays of renewed interest. 4 In particular, these studies are important in the so-called H-regimes in large toroidal facilities, characterized by sharp gradients in the radial pro les of macroscopic plasma quantities in the region of the transport barriers. Plasmas of small tokamaks, which pl...
متن کاملBIASING OF SINP - TOKAMAK PLASMA IN HIGH - q REGIME
In SINP-TOKAMAK [an iron-core device having major radius = 30 cm, minor radius = 7.5 cm and B(toroidal) = 2 Tesla(maximum)] both high/normal q and very low q (VLQ) regimes can be achieved. Recently in this machine fast edge biasing experiment in the later regime revealed a change in plasma current profile at edge region leading to better confinement and longer duration of plasma current. The co...

Mutual Inductance Between Coaxial Circular Coils of Rectangular Cross Section and Thin Coaxial Circular Coils with Constant Current Density in Air (Filament Method)
This paper deals with an efficient and fast approach for determining the mutual inductance between coaxial circular coils of rectangular cross section in combination with thin coaxial circular coils as the thin wall solenoid, the thin disk coil and the filamentary coil. This approach is based on the filament method where conductors are approximated by the set of Maxwell’s coils. The obtained ex...
متن کاملA Simplified Plasma Current Profile Model for Tokamak Control
The purpose of this paper is to present a simplified model of the current and temperature dynamics of tokamak plasma. It is focused on the diffusion behaviors and relates the profiles of physical variables to engineering control inputs. The Scilab/Scicos environment is used for the numerical implementation of this model. This work is a first step towards the control of the current profile.
