چکیده
Abstract Background Obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD) is usually associated with insight’s heterogeneity, and those poor insight showed lower BDNF cognitive deficiencies. The aim was to detect the relation between executive dysfunction BDNF. Materials methods Forty patients diagnosed OCD forty matched healthy controls. Also, both good groups (assessed by Brown Assessment of Belief Scale) were compared as regard Trail Making Test serum level BDNF). Results group gave a significant worse performance in TMT than control. had fair insight. ROC curve analysis confirmed that valuable diagnostic biomarker 100% sensitivity 72.41% specificity, p value < 0.001. Insight not significantly detected Test. Conclusions longer duration illness, severe symptoms, level, time on TMTA-B patients. OCD.
