Study of factors affecting construction quality, cost, and time in building project using analytical hierarchy process (AHP)

The building construction is a very complex project which requires the collaboration of many participants and various resources. It important to identify mitigate problems in that can hamper performance such as delay, cost overruns, low quality. objective study determine factors projects affect cost, quality, time performance. method used this research Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) analyze dominant causing constraints. A structured hierarchical matrix was developed based on preliminary identification affecting time, then evaluated by experienced professionals during survey. data obtained from questionnaires were processed using Expert Choice 11 software. Based results study, it found there are five quality constraints, design changes owner phases, planning error, delay payment, work plan unpredictable bad weather condition. This also presented mitigations these factors, both interviews with experts previous literature studies.
