Study of 200 hypertensive Sudanese patient’s echocardiography

This is a prospective cross-sectional hospital-based staudy was to assess the left ventricular change in hypertensive patients using Echocardiography, carried out period from September 2020 january 2022, sample included 200 who checked at different Center Khartoum city. A questionnaire used collect data and patients. Data analyzed by SPSS, results presented as tables figures. The chi-square test independent t-test were with p≤ 0.05 considering significance. more than half of (59%) female (41%) male, age ranged between 35–95 years mean 61.3±11.6 addition one third them 36%) aged 60 – 69 years. current study showed that most 87% had normal ejection fraction, severe decrease 9%, mild decrease3% least moderate 1%. In present all LVH, 98% LVH only 2% moderate, 54% eccentric hypertrophy whereas 46% concentric hypertrophy. LVIDD, LVISD, mass, LVMI male it statically significant EF female. There no relationship demographic (sex, family history, DM duration HTN) Left ventricle mass. Echocardiography should be routinely diagnosis, management follow up
