Studi Potensi Ekstrak Etanol Biji Pepaya (Carica papaya L.) sebagai Pedikulisidal Semprot terhadap Kutu Pediculus humanus var. capitis

چکیده
Pedikulosis kapitis merupakan infeksi kulit dan rambut kepala diakibatkan Pediculus humanus var. capitis yang saat ini masih sering terjadi. Pedikulisidal dari tumbuhan sudah banyak direkomendasikan sebagai pedikulisidal alternatif karena memiliki efek toksisitas pada manusia rendah. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi ekstrak etanol biji pepaya terhadap kematian capitis. menggunakan 5 ekor kutu setiap kelompok perlakuan. Pengujian dilakukan dengan perlakuan konsentrasi yaitu 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% 40%. Kontrol digunakan berupa kontrol positif permetrin 1% negatif aquabides. Dilakukan masing-masing tiga pengulangan. Hasil didapatkan 20%, 40%, presentase tinggi 100%, 10% sebesar 80% kematian, terendah adalah 5% 60% 0%. LC50 9.685% sedangkan LC90 12.038%. uji fitokimia bahwa esktrak mengandung senyawa alkaloid, saponin, flavonoid tanin. Kesimpulan. Ekstrak alami.
