Entering higher education can be an alienating experience leading to institutional and systemic drop out. Academic help-seeking behaviour as a self-regulated learning strategy is one way counteract this. But enabled or hindered by several factors including student’s sense of belonging. In this study we attempted understand how issues belonging impact on student and, if they are positively related, institutions might promote greater We collected total 818 submissions from students in academic recovery programme.
