Structure reactivity analysis for Phenylalanine and Tyrosine

چکیده
Phenylalanine (Phe) is one of the amino acids that cannot be produced in body and must ingested through diet. Tyrosine (Tyr) also a non-essential acid can by Phe hydroxylation liver when dietary intake Tyr low. Structure analysis very important to know correct synthesis reactivity molecule. In this study, characterization molecules were investigated using quantum chemical calculations. The molecular geometry for both was determined density functional theory (B3LYP) handling 6-311++G(d,p) basis set. method TD-DFT which based on B3LYP/6-31++G(d,p) level, utilized ethanol solvent find electronic absorption spectra. addition, frontier orbitals, electrostatic potential charge distributions carried out B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p) theory. energy differences between HOMO LUMO obtained as 0.19851 eV, have good argument with compared tyrosine, band gap 0.20501 eV

Comparison of phenylalanine and tyrosine in urine of patients with vitiligo and normal subjects
Amino acids are one of the most necessary substances in intracellular metabolic processes.aromatic aminoacids such as phenylalanine and tyrosine are precursor of melanin so are important materials for the skin pigmentation.metabolic disorders in the melanin synthesis causes milky macules on the skin of patients, known as vitiligo.these patients are hypersensitive to sunlight and consequently at ...
متن کاملOn the metabolism of phenylalanine and tyrosine.
The metabolism of phenylalanine and tyrosine has been the subject of investigation for many years. Much evidence has been produced to show that in mammalian tissue phenylalanine is converted to tyrosine (l-5). Tyrosine can be oxidized to p-hydroxyphenylpyruvic acid, which can in turn form homogentisic acid (5-13). Embden, Salomon, and Schmidt (14) showed that phenylalanine, tyrosine, and homoge...
متن کاملDegradation of Phenylalanine and Tyrosine by Sporobolomyces
Ammonia-lyase activity for L-phenylalanine, m-hydroxyphenylalanine and L-tyrosine was demonstrated in cell-free extracts ofSporobolomyces roseus. Cultures of this organism converted DL-[ring-14C]phenylalanine and L-[U-14C]tyrosine into the corresponding cinnamic acid. Tracer studies showed that these compounds were further metabolized to [14C]protocatechuic acid. Benzoic acid andp-hydroxybenzoi...
