This research aims to determine the structure of phytoplankton community in waters Cikidang River, which can use as a bioindicator water quality. The began November 2021-February 2022 using survey method. Sampling does at four stations. determination stations by considering land and river orders. parameters analyzed are transparency, temperature, Salinity, pH, Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Dissolved oxygen (DO), Nitrate (NO3-), Phosphate (PO43-), NH3, abundance, diversity index, dominance index. results showed identification 21 genera from 6 classes phyla such Chrysophyta, Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, Euglenophyta. Abundances index ranging 17.2-104.6 Ind/L. ranged 0.49 0.72. At same time, ranges 0.28 0.51 belongs category low moderate dominance. quality River generally meets requirements class II Class III standards, according Government Regulation 22 2021 concerning Water Quality Management Pollution Control.
