چکیده

Abstract An exopolysaccharide (EPS) was isolated from Lactobacillus plantarum Ts and purified by size exclusion chromatography train. L. showed the highest production (9.4 ± 0.8 g/l) of EPS. Furthermore, cultured in medium with volume 5 L EPS extracted ethanol precipitation. By HPLS analysis demonstrated, that has two fractions - polymer olygomer. The molecular mass both is respectively 8.3x104 Da for greater pic 5.0x102 Da. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy presence hydroxyl carboxyl groups glycosidic linkages. TLC indicated a heteropolymer composed fructose, sucrose as monomeric constituent units. strain pathogenic E. coli 3398, St. aureus 745, B. subtilis 6633, S. typhimurium 3591, monocytogenes 863 aerogenes 3691 were tested their growth utilizing sole carbon source its possible use prebiotic. exhibited supplied compared source, whereas strains did not grow EPS-supplied medium. In vitro evaluations that, like other reported polysaccharides, this displayed significant prebiotics properties.

Characterization of Exopolysaccharide Produced by Streptococcus thermophilus CC30

An exopolysaccharide (EPS) producing strain CC30 was isolated from raw milk and identified as Streptococcus thermophilus with morphological and 16S sequencing analysis. The strain was shown to produce 1.95 g/L of EPS when grown in skim milk lactose medium at 30°C by increasing the viscosity of the medium. The EPS was isolated and purified, and it was shown to consist of glucose and galactose in...

Evaluating the Production Yield of an Exopolysaccharide Produced by Enterobacter cloacae subsp. Dissolvens in Seawater

The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of different parameters on exopolysaccharide (EPS) production from Enterobacter cloacae subsp. dissolvens using seawater as a basal medium. For this purpose, the effect of carbon (sucrose, molasses, paraffin and sunflower oil) and nitrogen sources, NaCl concentration, incubation time, pH as well as seawater dilution or enrichment with disti...

Preparation, characterization and immunomodulatory activity of selenium-enriched exopolysaccharide produced by bacterium Enterobacter cloacae Z0206.

The tolerant-selenium exopolysaccharide-producing bacterial strain Enterobacter cloacae Z0206 was batch cultured in PDA medium containing optimal concentration of sodium selenite. Selenium was accumulated efficiently in Enterobacter cloacae Z0206 during cultivation with selenium. Inorganic selenite could be transformed into organic forms. Selenium-enriched exopolysaccharide (Se-ECZ-EPS-1) was p...

Characterization and Safety Evaluation of Exopolysaccharide Produced by Rhodotorula minuta BIOTECH 2178

Yeast exopolysaccharide (EPS) are composed of unique sugar units, which offers an interesting perspective with respect to various food applications. This study aimed to characterize the EPS from Rhodotorula minuta BIOTECH 2178. Toxicological assessment of the EPS was investigated to ensure that it is safe for human consumption. The yeast EPS revealed high total sugar composition (59.2162-47%) a...
