Structural behavior of damaged reinforced concrete beams under static cyclic loading

Bridges are regarded as one of the most important components transportation infrastructure. More and more repairs, inspections, alterations, construction processes required to maintain safe usage due increasing travel demands in addition bridge infrastructure aging. In this paper, we will discuss experimental investigation using five reinforced concrete beams evaluate effect making damage under static cyclic loading investigate their ductility energy dissipation. The defective parameters taken into consideration program were gap mold mild steel at middle bottom reinforcement. All tested specimens had same cross-sectional dimensions. dimensions 200 mm width 300 height, beam's length was selected be 2200 mm, having a clear span 2000 between supports, they positive bending 3-point load system. According results, when (RC) subjected any mentioned types damage, showed significant decrease ultimate capacities ranging from 3.03% 19.31%. ANSYS model shows an average difference with within 4 % acceptable agreement.
