Structural and optical property changes of zin oxide nanopowders doped with cobalt and indium metals mechano-chemically

چکیده

The mechano-chemical technique was employed to synthesise cobalt and indium single double doped as well the undoped ZnO nanopowder samples. X-ray diffraction (XRD) energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) results confirm that prepared samples were of hexagonal wurzite form. A new peak observed in pattern In nanopowders. Doping nanoparticles with Co did not significantly affect lattice parameters, even though average grain sizes found be reduced. morphology revealed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images appear more spherical. excitation wavelength 350 nm used photoluminescence (PL) study where various defects related emissions for nanoparticles. band gap calculated from ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) data. It had smaller compared Raman experiment performed at 514.532 E2 (high) mode most intense peak. Copyright © 2018 VBRI Press.
