Structural and Antimicrobial Investigation of Some New Nanoparticles Mixed Ligands Metal Complexes of Ethyl 6-Amino-4-(4-chlorophenyl)-5-cyano-2-methyl-4H-pyran-3-carboxylate in Presence of 1,10-Phenanthroline

A new series of some biologically active Cr(III), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II) complexes was synthesized from the reaction Ethyl 6-amino-4-(4-chlorophenyl)-5-cyano-2-methyl-4H-pyran-3-carboxylate (L) with previous biological metals in presence 1,10-phenanthroline monohydrate (Phen). The structures obtained L along their were authenticated by different analytical spectral techniques. data prove that chelates all metal ions as bidentate through nitrogen amino group cyano group. Furthermore, Phen chelated via two atoms. molar conductance values reflect are electrolyte, confirming 1:3 electrolytic natures for trivalent 1:2 bivalent ions. thermal stability general decomposition pathways complexes, L, evaluating according to thermogravimetric technique. activation thermodynamic parameters estimated TG curves utilizing Horowitz–Metzger (HM) Coats–Redfern (CR) Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis proved compounds have a crystalline nature, whereas, Ni(II) semicrystalline. investigated examined vitro antimicrobial activity towards G(+ve) Staphylococcus aureus Bacillus subtilis G(−ve) Escherichia coli Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria, fungi: Candida albicans Aspergillus flavus. According findings, Co(II) complex has significant efficiency toward additionally, Cr(III) is highly fungal strains.
