چکیده
The stress–strength analysis is investigated for a multicomponent system, where all strength variables of components follow generalized exponential distribution and are subject to the distributed stress. estimation methods maximum likelihood Bayesian utilized infer system reliability. For method, informative non-informative priors combined with three loss functions considered. Because computational difficulty on working posteriors, Markov chain Monte Carlo method adopted obtain approximation reliability estimator posterior. In addition, bootstrap highest probability density interval used confidence intervals. simulation study shows that Bayes prior superior other competitors. Finally, two real examples given illustrate proposed methods.

Estimation in Simple Step-Stress Model for the Marshall-Olkin Generalized Exponential Distribution under Type-I Censoring
This paper considers the simple step-stress model from the Marshall-Olkin generalized exponential distribution when there is time constraint on the duration of the experiment. The maximum likelihood equations for estimating the parameters assuming a cumulative exposure model with lifetimes as the distributed Marshall Olkin generalized exponential are derived. The likelihood equations do not lea...
متن کاملInference for the Type-II Generalized Logistic Distribution with Progressive Hybrid Censoring
This article presents the analysis of the Type-II hybrid progressively censored data when the lifetime distributions of the items follow Type-II generalized logistic distribution. Maximum likelihood estimators (MLEs) are investigated for estimating the location and scale parameters. It is observed that the MLEs can not be obtained in explicit forms. We provide the approximate maximum likelihood...
متن کاملExact hypothesis testing and confidence interval for mean of the exponential distribution under Type-I progressive hybrid censoring
Censored samples are discussed in experiments of life-testing; i.e. whenever the experimenter does not observe the failure times of all units placed on a life test. In recent years, inference based on censored sampling is considered, so that about the parameters of various distributions such as normal, exponential, gamma, Rayleigh, Weibull, log normal, inverse Gaussian, ...
متن کاملParameter estimations for mixed generalized exponential distribution based on progressive type-I interval censoring
Abstract: This paper considers the estimation of parameters based on a progressively type-I interval-censored data from a mixed generalized exponential distribution. The maximum likelihood estimation is used but an analytic form cannot be obtained. The EM algorithm is applied to obtain the maximum likelihood estimates. The performance of the estimates is judged by a simulating study and a real ...
متن کاملLocally optimal tests for exponential distributions with type-I censoring
This article studies a locally optimal test φ for testing H0 : θ ≥ θ0 versus H1 : θ < θ0 for the lifetime parameter θ in an exponential distribution based on type-I censored data. Certain properties associated with φ are addressed. We compare the performance of φ with that of Spurrier and Wei’s [Spurrier, J.D., Wei, L.J., 1980. A test of the parameter of the exponential distribution in the type...
