Strength and durability properties of quaternary blended high strength concrete

Concrete is in great demand due to global infrastructure expansion. Cement a critical component the production of concrete because it binds ingredients together. But primary issue arises environment release toxic gases such as CO3 and sulphur into atmosphere. To overcome this, some other cementitious materials, namely admixtures, were utilized partial replacements for cement. In this study, was made M70 grade with quaternary blend composition cement, silica fume, metakaolin, alccofine. Silica fume largely used mineral admixture high-strength high-performance concrete. Metakaolin material developed from heat treatment natural kaolin deposits. Alccofine new type These materials not only lower consumption cement but also help maintain its qualities, so proposed study mechanical, durability properties hardened This paper mainly highlights on utilization they replaced varying proportions get required strength 7 days compressive, split tensile strength.
