Angle of rotation is a key parameter in motor fault diagnosis under varying speed conditions, and usually measured by an optical encoder. However, the use encoders intrusive many scenarios its signal difficult to access due technical or commercial reasons. In this study, novel angle measurement method based on stray flux analysis proposed applied bearing brushless direct-current (BLDC) motors. The accuracy comparable that from developed flexible, noninvasive, nondestructive. It easy implement eliminates need for long cables control system. can be extended electrical drive faults. If implemented with Internet Things (IoT) hand-held device, it further improve reliability sensorless systems industrial automation so as meet Industry 4.0 requirements.
