چکیده
Abstract This study intends to examine the effect of using bio-rejuvenators (BioCS and BitutechRAP) on Reclaimed Asphalt (RA) binder as seen from asphalt stiffness modulus (Sbit) based laboratory testing Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) Frequency Sweep which is compared Sbit resulting analysis Van der Poel nomograph under RTFO (rolling thin film oven) conditions. The comparison was analyzed by looking at adjustment factor produced each type testing. types binders tested were pen 60/70 control binder, 23% BioCS mixed in RAbinder, 17% BitutechRAP RA binder. results showed that value DSR test not too much different, with an 1.61, addition more influential than BitutechRAP, this indicated + 2.84 close 2.64.

Effect of Reclaimed rubber Modification on the Rheological Properties and Rutting Resistance of Asphalt Binders
In this paper, the effect of reclaimed rubber modification on the rheological characteristics of asphalt binders is studied. Reclaimed rubber with the extent of 12, 16 and 20 is added to the neat asphalt binder and then shear complex modulus is obtained for neat and modified asphalt binder via Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) test. Using Christensen-Anderson- Marasteanu (CAM) model, master curves ...
متن کاملEvaluating the Performance of Hot Mix Asphalt with Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement and Heavy Vacuum Slops as Rejuvenator
Due to the high price of crude oil, and consequently asphalt binder, the application of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) in pavement technology is widely considered. The present paper is the result of a laboratory research which was carried out to investigate the effects of adding a rejuvenating agent to Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) with RAP. To this end, test samples comprised of Aged Asphalt Binder ...
متن کاملThermal and Fatigue Evaluation of Asphalt Mixtures Containing RAP Treated with a Bio-Agent
Environment conservation and diminishing natural resources caused an increase in popularity of the application of renewable bio-origin resources for the construction of road pavement. Currently, there are known additions of bio-origin materials for bitumen modification. Such material is also used as a flux additive for bitumen or as a rejuvenator once working with reclaimed asphalt pavement (RA...

Van de r Poel's method (Rheol. These limitations a re removed in this paper in which an erro r in the original derivation is corrected, and the...
متن کاملRheological Properties and Chemical Bonding of Asphalt Modified with Nanosilica
The objective of this study is to evaluate the rheological properties and chemical bonding of nano-modified asphalt binders blended with nanosilica. In this study, the nanosilica was added to the control asphalt at contents of 4% and 6% based on the weight of asphalt binders. Superpave binder and mixture tests were utilized in this study to estimate the characteristics of the nano-modifed aspha...
