چکیده
Modelling and simulation are important tools during design development processes. For accurate predictions of, e.g. manufacturing processes or final product performance, reliable material data is needed. Usually, the applied models calibrated by utilising direct methods such as conventional uniaxial tensile/compression tests but also inverse occasionally applied. Recently, an effective method, stepwise modelling method (SMM), was presented. By using SMM, flow stress from initial yielding, beyond necking to fracture, can be determined. However, developed for sheet materials having isotropic von Mises hardening. In this paper SMM extended post characterisation of anisotropic metals Barlat yield 2000 criterion. The novel analyse plasticity widely used aluminium alloy AA6016 in T4 condition AA5754 H111 condition. latter has reported show serrated known Portevin–Le Chatelier effect. obtained curves agree well with form tensile up point credible fracture. Furthermore, showed that it could handle effect yielding AA5754-H111. Hence, approach characterise hardening a variety thereby contributes efficient model calibration.

Prediction of Instability in Planar Anisotropic Sheet Metal Forming Processes
In this paper instability of planar anisotropic sheet metal during a few forming processes is investigated for the first time. For this reason components of the constitutive tangent tensor for planar anisotropic sheets are developed. By using the above tensor location of necking is predicted. Direction of the shear band is also predicted using the acoustic tensor. A finite element program is pr...
متن کاملCrack Tip Constraint for Anisotropic Sheet Metal Plate Subjected to Mode-I Fracture
On the ground of manufacturing, sheet metal parts play a key role as they cover about half of the production processes. Sheet metals are commonly obtained from rolling and forming processes which causes misalignment of micro structure resulting obvious anisotropic characteristics and micro cracks. Presence of micro cracks poses serious attention, when stresses at the tip reach to the critical v...
متن کاملThe Optimization of Servo Press Method for Sheet Metal Forming
Recently in the field of sheet metal forming, servo press, which can control the speed and position of the tool using a servo motor, is attractive method. Development process of servo press method is accelerated as the capacity of servo motor become bigger. In the future, it’s expected as a great alternative plan to replace conventional press method in order to improve quality, increase product...
متن کاملgeneration for sheet design Method for offset - curve : - metal
Offset curves have many applications in computer-aided design and manufacturing. The paper deals with sheet-metal design, where section curves that lie on a design surface must be offset by one metal thickness. Standard techniques for offsetting curves and surfaces are usually too slow for interactive speeds. The paper presents a simple iterative method for computing offset points which can the...
متن کاملBending-Unbending Analysis of Anisotropic Sheet under Plane Strain Condition
The mechanical behavior of cold rolled sheets is significantly related to residual stresses that arise from bending and unbending processes. Measurement of residual stresses is mostly limited to surface measurement techniques. Experimental determination of stress variation through thickness is difficult and time-consuming. This paper presents a closed form solution for residual stresses, in whi...
