Static-PPP Performance using Multi-GNSS (Single, Dual and Triple) Frequency Observations

چکیده

Precise Point Positioning (PPP) is relatively modern GNSS positioning technique that proved its efficiency comparing with traditional Differential for more than three decades. PPP requires only one receiver collecting observations at unknown station, while two receivers simultaneously known-position station and the other station. Extensive mitigation of different errors essential PPP-collected observations. Static-PPP accuracy depends on factors such as; used system; single (GPS(G) or GLONASS(R) BeiDou(C) Galileo(E)) mixed-GNSS systems (GPS/GLONASS GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou/Galileo), type (single dual triple frequency), satellites geometry duration. This research investigates static-PPP variation different-latitude IGS stations based factors; system mixed), frequency) geometry. It can be concluded GRCE combination provides 3D-accuracy (8 cm) using frequency observations, (1.5 mm) (1 a convergence time four minutes epochs)

An Approach to Speed up Single-Frequency PPP Convergence with Quad-Constellation GNSS and GIM

The single-frequency precise point positioning (PPP) technique has attracted increasing attention due to its high accuracy and low cost. However, a very long convergence time, normally a few hours, is required in order to achieve a positioning accuracy level of a few centimeters. In this study, an approach is proposed to accelerate the single-frequency PPP convergence by combining quad-constell...

Tightly-Coupled Integration of Multi-GNSS Single-Frequency RTK and MEMS-IMU for Enhanced Positioning Performance

Dual-frequency Global Positioning System (GPS) Real-time Kinematics (RTK) has been proven in the past few years to be a reliable and efficient technique to obtain high accuracy positioning. However, there are still challenges for GPS single-frequency RTK, such as low reliability and ambiguity resolution (AR) success rate, especially in kinematic environments. Recently, multi-Global Navigation S...

Improving Ambiguity Resolution for Medium Baselines Using Combined GPS and BDS Dual/Triple-Frequency Observations

The regional constellation of the BeiDou navigation satellite system (BDS) has been providing continuous positioning, navigation and timing services since 27 December 2012, covering China and the surrounding area. Real-time kinematic (RTK) positioning with combined BDS and GPS observations is feasible. Besides, all satellites of BDS can transmit triple-frequency signals. Using the advantages of...

Sea level observations using multi-system GNSS reflectometry

Information on sea level and its changes are important in connection to global climate change processes. For centuries, sea level has been observed with coastal tide gauges and since some decades with satellite altimetry. Furthermore, during recent years the application of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) reflectometry, also known as GNSS-R, for sea level observations has been develope...

Performance of Precise Point Positioning using Current Triple-frequency GPS Measurements in Australia

GNSS Network Real-Time-Kinematic (NRTK) has become a common service for many precise positioning applications over the last two decades. However, NRTK cannot service or support user applications if they are outside the Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) network coverage area, such as in the case of offshore surveying. In addition, NRTK requires a fairly dense network of CORS (typi...
