Standardization of Method and Time of Budding in Jamun (Syzygium cumini Skeels)

The present investigation was conducted at the Research Farm of Department Horticulture, SHUATS, Prayagraj, on 1-year old rootstocks Jamun during period June 2022 to October with objective find out suitable time and method budding in Jamun. statistical design adopted for experiment Factorial completely randomised (Factorial CRD) three replications eighteen treatment combinations. This study comprises two methods propagation i.e. T-Budding Patch budding. results revealed that among 1-15th August found be exceptional terms highest percent success, number branches, bud take, length new sprout, stem thickness, leaf area, leaves per plant, days sprout best minimum days.
