Standard electronic health record (EHR) framework for Indian healthcare system

Abstract Digitization of health records in public facility and its instant availability the form electronic anywhere any time service is yet to be implemented developing nations like India other countries. In India, patient care mainly delivered through 3 levels namely Primary/Community Healthcare Centre (PHC/CHC), Secondary healthcare centre (District Hospital), Tertiary (National level). The facilities face many challenges collecting, processing, storing these data managing it without compromising security privacy. Presently, some secondary tertiary have started implementing IT application terms Hospital Information System, Management Electronic Medical Records (EMR) etc. manage format. However, systems are developed by different vendors using programming languages databases. This approach makes system unique but details remains same hospital cannot shared with hospitals when moves from one for advanced or specialized treatment. because not interoperable semantic. proposed work, a standard secure Health Record(EHR) framework medical terminology coding standards. Implementation EHR Indian will improve work-flow services population. at all enable efficient continuous patient.
