Background: Tobacco use is a significant and controllable risk factor for the spread of diseases, as well rise in morbidity mortality, which leads to early death. Because its popularity, this substance on among children adolescents. Aim: The aim study understand stages change hookah smoking high school male students. Methodology: Part was an experimental randomized controlled trial used guide study. carried out at Tuz High School males Khurmatu District, Salah-Aldeen Governorate. included simple random sample 144 instrument includes students’ sociodemographic data. It also Stages Change Scale Hookah Smoking, Processes Self-Efficacy/ Temptation Decisional Balance Smoking. Data were collected using self-reported method period from November 1st, 2021 March 31th, 2022. analyzed statistical package social science (SPSS) Windows, version 26. Results: There are differences values over time participants both control groups (F = 90.973, df 2, p < .01 vs. F 32.346, .01). Conclusion: lower Stage Change, poorer Self-Efficacy cessation.
