Spillway preheating

چکیده
In traditional models only an order one fraction of energy is transferred from the inflaton to radiation through nonperturbative resonance production in preheating immediately after inflation, due backreaction effects. We propose a particle mechanism that could improve depletion density by up four orders magnitude. The improvement comes fast perturbative decays resonantly produced daughter particles. They act as "spillway" drain these particles, reducing their on and keeping resonant effective for longer period. Thus we dub scenario "spillway preheating". also show remaining has simple inverse power-law scaling scenario. general, spillway much more efficient dissipation mechanism, which may have other applications model building physics.
