Spatial-Temporal Heterogeneity for Commercial Building Carbon Emissions in China: Based the Dagum Gini Coefficient

چکیده

There is great potential for carbon emission reduction in commercial buildings. Determining the spatial-temporal heterogeneity of CCBCE (China’s building emissions) crucial developing differentiated emissions mitigation policies. This paper estimated and then adopted a method involving visualization spatial data, Dagum Gini coefficient, kernel density estimation to analyze characteristics regional differences China’s eight economic regions 2006–2019. The results indicate that: (1) displayed general upward trend, increasing from 400.99 million t (tons) 853.23 t. electricity accounted largest share (65.93% 2009). Moreover, Guangdong was only high-emission province 2019 with 77.8 CCBCE. (2) contribution rate different incremental made significant difference, inter-regional (61.81%) were much higher than intra-regional (7.99%). (3) greatest found Southern coastal region (average coefficient up 0.4782). For differences, disparity between Northern Northwest greatest. Further, presented trend increase. study concludes that effective measures should be taken reduce each narrow gap

Temporal and spatial variations in consumption-based carbon dioxide emissions in China

China’s CO2 emissions have sharply increased in recent years with soaring economic development and urbanization. Consumption-based accounting of CO2 emissions could provide new insights for allocating regional mitigation responsibility and curbing the emissions. A multi-regional input–output model is used to study the trends and disparities of consumption-based emissions from Chinese provinces ...

Equality of Medical Health Resource Allocation in China Based on the Gini Coefficient Method

BACKGROUND The Chinese government is trying to achieve the goal of "universal access to basic health care services". However, the inequality of the distribution of health care resources across the country is the biggest obstacle. This paper aims to explore these inequalities and the extent to which the method of analysis influences the perception. METHODS The indicators of health care resourc...

Inequality of Carbon Intensity: Empirical Analysis of China 2000–2014

On the 3 September 2016, China officially ratified the Paris agreement as the main global producer of carbon emissions. A key of China’s commitment is to reduce its carbon intensity by 60–65% between 2005 and 2030. An improved understanding of the inequality of carbon intensity at national-, inter-regional-, and intra-regional scale is a prerequisite for the development of a more cost-effective...

Spatial-Temporal Characteristics and LMDI-Based Impact Factor Decomposition of Agricultural Carbon Emissions in Hotan Prefecture, China

Greenhouse gas emissions from the agricultural ecosystem account for 7%–20% of the world’s total greenhouse gas emissions, while approximately 17% of China’s carbon emissions are from agriculture. In this study, based on the scientific calculation system of carbon emissions in agriculture, we calculated the carbon emissions of agriculture in the Hotan prefecture between 1999 and 2013 and analyz...
