Spatial-Temporal Changes of Abarkuh Playa Landform from Sentinel-1 Time Series Data

Playas, as the flattest landforms in semiarid and arid regions, are extremely sensitive to climate changes, such changes hydrologic regime of landscape. The these due irrigation, anthropogenic activities, change could be a source disasters. In this study, we explored spatial-temporal Abarkuh Playa Central Iran using time series Sentinel-1 backscatter dataset three scales. Our results showed that western area has been changed other with different characteristics, which is clear from all maps. analysis data independent component precipitation revealed variations were associated direct rainfall across playa surface was reacting soil moisture content. power scale boundary successfully recognized oscillating pattern study area. Moreover, polarizations reveal patterns for playa.
