Spatial spillover of global value chain in eco-efficiency

With increasing participation in the global value chain (GVC), China’s economy has gradually entered middle and late stages of industrialization vigorous urbanization. However, accompanying problems, such as low-quality economic growth, excessive consumption resources, scarce energy supply environmental pollution, have also become major issues that social development must be solved. Therefore, based on estimating comprehensive index regional eco-efficiency, it is great practical significance to clarify impacts GVC embeddedness government protection systems eco-efficiency. From perspective spatial spillover, this study explored dependence eco-efficiency between regions deeply analyzed spillover effect provide feasible solutions for China actively achieve goals “carbon peak” neutrality.” It was found deepening can play a certain positive role eco-efficiency; region not only improve its own through traditional methods import export, but drive improvement other spillover. Our results used manage resources neighboring Asian countries developing globally.
