SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION OF INVASIVE PLANTS IN BANDUNG, WEST JAVA, INDONESIA

The urban area is a source of invasive plants that enter through human activities such as agriculture and land-use conversion. Studying the plant in areas essential to understanding city’s ecosystem health condition. Therefore, this study aims inventory plants, map their distribution, explain relationship between land use with community diversity species richness Bandung. vegetation analysis was performed using line-transect 22 sites distributed systematic random sampling method Bandung observe composition. plots were placed based on type. name, individual number, frequency, site locations noted analyzed calculate important value index (IVI) distribution pattern principal component (PCA). dominant spatially mapped. There 187 found Bandung, which can be categorized into alien (39%), native (25%), non-invasive (18%), (15%), unidentified (3%). most common Eleusine indica (IVI=10.50%), Trimezia martinicensis (IVI=7.22%), Cyperus rotundus (IVI=6.74%). Based similarity index, highest similarities fields gardens (50.5%), settlements road lanes (44.4%), parks (26.2%), forests lane (17.5%). PCA showed Swietenia macrophylla forests, air humidity influencing environmental factor. settlement affected by high humidity. Bidens pilosa an commonly park edges.
