Baryon axial currents

The baryon axial currents are calculated at one–loop order in heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory by employing both a cutoff and dimensional regularization. Data from the semileptonic baryon decays is used to perform a least–squares fit to the two axial couplings D and F of the effective Lagrangian. Predictions for the momentum dependent axial form factors are made and the two different reg...

Numerical modelling of induced rip currents by discontinuous submerged breakwaters

Submerged breakwaters are one of the shore protective structures. Any discontinuity in these breakwaters causes changes on current parameters including speed and water surface profile. In this paper, discontinuous submerged breakwaters were modelled to investigate the changes in the wave and flow pattern. To investigate the phenomenon, three models including a shore with constant slope, a shore ...

Baryon Axial Currents in QCD

We prove that the 1/Nc corrections to the baryon axial current matrix elements are proportional to their lowest order values. This implies that the first correction to axial current coupling constant ratios vanishes, and that the SU(2Nf ) spin-flavor symmetry relations are only violated at second order in 1/Nc. 0 Thin shell quantization in Weyl spacetime

We study the problem of quantization of thin shells in a Weyl–Dirac theory by deriving a Wheeler–DeWitt equation from the dynamics. Solutions are found which have interpretations in both cosmology and particle physics.
