چکیده
Effective breeding work to create disease-resistant wheat varieties provides for regional, retrospective studies determine effective sources of resistance. One the most harmful and globally significant diseases is powdery mildew. In conditions Tatarstan, located in Volga economic region Russia, mass development mildew on spring common noted annually, regardless prevailing weather conditions. The high natural infectious background allows us objectively differentiate samples by disease purpose our research was search resistance among VIR collection, which retain stability a long time. were conducted period from 2011 2021. total, during entire period, 702 studied Pre-Kama zone Republic Tatarstan. reaction evaluated population fungus Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici, caused wheat. screening 2020 allowed identify field that their effectiveness time: Tybalt (k-64897, Netherlands), Zebra (k-64707, Sweden), CH Rubli (k-65003, Germany), Visa (k-64390, Belarus). During this there decrease 3.5 points 2011-2015 4.6 2016-2020 (on 9-point scale). At varietals: Toma (k-66193), Sudarynya (k-6647), Laska (k-66421) Belarus; KWS Torridon (k-66273, UK); Netherlands); Griwa (k-66701), Zura (k-66702) Poland; Florens (k-66391, France); Odeta (66394, Czech Republic); Lavett (k-66095), Boett (k-66353) Sweden no symptoms recorded 2019-2021. collection Russian countries former USSR (except Belarus) poor resistant varieties, only two Barakat Sitara Tatarstan turned out be highly resistant. Resistant B. mainly originate European part world (band: Great Britain ?Belarus), approximately geographical coordinates - 50...55? north latitude.

A major gene for powdery mildew resistance transferred to common wheat from wild einkorn wheat.
ABSTRACT A major gene for resistance to wheat powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici = Erysiphe graminis f. sp. tritici) has been successfully transferred into hexaploid common wheat (Triticum aestivum, 2n = 6x = 42, AABBDD) from wild einkorn wheat (Triticum monococcum subsp. aegilopoides, 2n = 2x = 14, AA). NC96BGTA5 is a germ plasm line with the pedigree Saluda x 3/PI427662. The res...

Five accessions of Aegilops speltoides and 67 European wheat cultivars (winter and spring) originating from the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, United Kingdom, and 4 non-European wheat cultivars from Brazil and the USA were examined with molecular Sequence Tagged Site (STS) markers for resistance genes to powdery mildew: Pm 1, Pm 2, Pm 3 and Pm 13. All markers gave clear, rep...

Wheat powdery mildew caused by fungal pathogen Blumeria graminis f.sp. tritici is a destructive wheat disease, occurring in regions with cool and humid climates. In order to investigate the changes in pathogenicity of the disease and to identify the effective genetic source of resistance, a total of 29 wheat genotypes with different resistance major genes (Pm) were studied in two hotspots of Go...
متن کاملCompetitive Performance of Transgenic Wheat Resistant to Powdery Mildew
Genetically modified (GM) plants offer an ideal model system to study the influence of single genes that confer constitutive resistance to pathogens on the ecological behaviour of plants. We used phytometers to study competitive interactions between GM lines of spring wheat Triticum aestivum carrying such genes and control lines. We hypothesized that competitive performance of GM lines would be...
