چکیده
Sorption treatment of wastewater from chromium compounds is a current and actively developing area research. However, there lack sorbents combining high efficiency economic affordability with the possibility application in industrial conditions. In this work, sorption properties biochar material “EcoChar,” obtained as result fast pyrolysis agricultural poultry waste, were studied relation to removal trivalent ions, basic thermodynamic parameters process, which type strong chemisorption, determined. Based on IR spectra sorbent material, formation chelate complexes by hydrolyzed ions involvement carboxylic groups simple ether bonds suggested. Using Langmuir model, values capacity found as, 68.8 ± 0,2 mg Cr(III)/g 87.5 0,3 at 298 318 K, respectively. These values, are much higher than those their corresponding waste counterparts, make use an adsorbent advantageous for Cr(III) containing acidic wastewater.

Polypyrrole magnetic graphene oxide (PPy/MGO) composites have been synthesized from a natural source (water hyacinth roots) using polymerization technique for Th(IV) ions pre-concentration from aqueous solutions. The effects of controlling factor have been studied using the batch technique. The obtained results show that the maximum Th(IV) adsorption capacity by PPy/MGO composite is 277.8 m...
متن کاملKinetics of Chromium Sorption on Biomass Fungi from Aqueous Solution
The kinetics of chromium ions sorption from aqueous solution on fungi biomass have been investigated in a batch system. The experimental data were analysed based on an intraparticle diffusion equation and a pseudo-second-order mechanism, in order to predict the constant rate of sorption and the equilibrium capacity with the effect of initial chromium ions concentration, temperature and initial ...
