چکیده
ABSTRACT Pre-emergence herbicides, such as indaziflam, have agronomic efficiency when available in the soil solution, mainly superficial layer (0-10 cm), region with highest concentration of weed seed bank. However, information about sorption indaziflam Brazilian soils still is scarce, since most studies literature were conducted temperate regions. The objective this study was to estimate using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and bioassay a Latossolo Vermelho-Amarelo (Oxisol) Cambissolo (Inceptisol), at pH values 5.1 6.1. In biossay, Sorghum bicolor used an indicator plant. Quantitative data obtained by HPLC, desorption coefficients determined Freundlich isotherms. Increasing two from 6.1 resulted reductions C50 coefficient values. Desorption, parameter estimated only showed inverse behavior that sorption, is, lowest observed condition sorption. It concluded increase studied reduces influencing recommendations herbicide, both environmental points view. When goal verify presence or absence soils, technique has satisfactory efficiency. Chromatographic assay necessary quantifying herbicide soil.

Sorption-desorption of indaziflam in selected agricultural soils.
Indaziflam, a new alkylazine herbicide that inhibits cellulose biosynthesis, is under current development for soil applications in perennial crops and nonagricultural areas. Sorption and desorption of indaziflam in six soils from Brazil and three soils from the United States, with different physical chemical properties, were investigated using the batch equilibration method. Sorption kinetics d...
متن کاملComparison of Copper Dissolution in Chalcopyrite Concentrate Bioleaching with Acidianus Brierleyi in Different Initial pH Values
Although bioleaching of chalcopyrite by thermophilic microorganisms enhances the rate of copper recovery, a high temperature accelerates iron precipitation as jarosite, which can bring many operational problems in the industrial processes. In this research work, the bioleaching of chalcopyrite concentrate by the thermophilic Acidianus brierleyi was studied, and the microbial grow...
متن کاملSorption, degradation and leaching of pesticides in soils amended with organic matter: A review
The use of pesticides in modern agriculture is unavoidable because they are required to control weeds. Pesticides are poisonous; hence, they are dangerous if misused. Understanding the fate of pesticides will be useful to use them safely. Therefore, contaminations of water and soil resources could be avoided. The fates of pesticides in soils are influenced by their sorption, decomposition and m...
متن کاملEffect of soil pH on sorption of salinomycin in clay and sandy soils
Salinomycin is polyether ionophore, commonly used in poultry industry for the prevention of coccidial infections and promotion of growth. A large amount of the administered antibiotic is excreted as parent compound, eventually reaching agricultural lands. This makes it imperative for researchers to understand the behavior of the compound in soil environment by conducting sorption-desorption stu...
متن کاملConcentration, pH, and surface charge effects on cadmium and lead sorption in three tropical soils.
Reactions of heavy metals with soil are important in determining metal fates in the environment. Sorption characteristics of two heavy metals, Cd and Pb, in three tropical soils (Mollisol, Oxisol, and Ultisol) from Puerto Rico were assessed at varying metal concentrations (0 to 1.2 mM) and pH values (approximately 2 to 7). All soils sorbed more Pb than Cd. Sorption maxima were obtained for each...
