Production of synthetic methane as a substitute for natural gas has been widely discussed means long-term energy storage with the potential CO2 neutrality. While maximum conversion catalytic methanation is limited by highly exothermic and pressure-dependent nature Sabatier reaction, high at low pressure could be achieved laboratory scale through sorption enhancement.
