چکیده
Plant-arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi association is one of the oldest symbiotic relationships between organisms. This relationship may be more important under stress conditions such as drought and can help host plant tolerate drought. study was conducted in 2016 2017 at Agricultural Research Farm Razi University, Kermanshah, Iran to evaluate effect AM (AMF) inoculation (with either Funneliformis mosseae or Rhizophagus intraradices) on some physio-biochemical traits three sunflower cultivars different soil irrigation treatments (severe water deficit stress, mild well-watered). In both years, significantly reduced leaf relative content (RWC), chlorophyll concentrations (a, b total) shoot phosphorus concentration (SPC) while simultaneously increasing proline levels malondialdehyde (MDA) concentrations. AMF had positive effects RWC, SPC irrespective cultivar treatment. Shoot MDA than non-AM plants. most cases F. performed better R. intraradices terms performance. Moreover, improvements caused by were evident well-watered condition. It concluded that alleviate negative grown field, considered a practical economical approach improve crop performance environments exposed limitations.

Yield and growth characteristics of sunflower cultivars inoculated by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi under drought tension conditions
One of the new methods for optimum management and increasing the efficiency of water resources utilization in agricultural uses is the use of irrigation methods. Considering the importance of this issue, this research was carried out to determine the effect of mycorrhizal fungi on the yield of sunflower cultivars under drought tension conditions and as split split plots based on randomized comp...
متن کاملEnhancement of clover growth by inoculation of P-solubilizing fungi and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi.
This study evaluated the synergism between several P-solubilizing fungi isolates and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi to improve clover ( Trifolium pratense) growth in the presence of Araxá apatite. Clover was sown directly in plastic pots with 300g of sterilized washed sand, vermiculite and sepiolite 1:1:1 (v:v:v) as substrate, and grown in a controlled environment chamber. The substrate was ferti...
متن کاملInfluence of arbuscular mycorrhizal inoculation and humic acid application on growth and yield of Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) and its mycorrhizal colonization index under deficit irrigation
In this study effect of irrigation managements including irrigation after 100 and 200 mm pan evaporation as normal and deficit irrigation respectively was investigated in Roselle plants. Effects of humic acid (including 0 and 4 kg ha-1) and mycorrhizal inoculants (including Glomus versiforme (GV) and Rhizophagus irregularis (RI)) were also studied on growth, yield and mycorrhizal symbiosis inde...
متن کاملImprovement of Morpho-Physiological Traits and Antioxidant Capacity of Zinnia (Zinnia Elegance ‘Dreamland Red’) by Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (Glomus mosseae) Inoculation
Objective: The inoculation of substrates with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) is one of the most important effective strategies applied and one of the aims of sustainable agriculture. Methods: This experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of AMF inoculation (0, 2.5, and 5 W/W) on morpho-physiological traits such as flower and root dry weight, water-use efficiency and antioxidant capa...
متن کاملPlant coexistence mediated by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi
Recent research has indicated the importance of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in mediating plant coexistence. Coarse-scale studies compare the effects of the presence versus absence of AMF on plant coexistence, a phenomenon that is most relevant in early successional ecosystems where AMF are patchily distributed. By contrast, fine-scale studies investigate interactions that might occur onc...
