Some examples of equivalent rearrangement‐invariant quasi‐norms defined via f∗$f^*$ or f∗∗$f^{**}$

چکیده
We consider Lorentz–Karamata spaces, small and grand the so-called L $\mathcal {L}$ , R {R}$ LL {LL}$ LR {LR}$ RL {RL}$ RR {RR}$ spaces. The quasi-norms for a function f in each of these spaces can be defined via nonincreasing rearrangement ∗ $f^*$ or maximal $f^{**}$ . investigate when are equivalent. Most proofs based on Hardy-type inequalities. As an application, we demonstrate how our general results used to establish interpolation formulae

Macro - FF
This document describes Macro-FF, an adaptive planning system developed on top of FF version 2.3. The original FF is a fully automatic planner that uses a heuristic search approach. In addition, Macro-FF can automatically learn and use macro-actions with the goal of reducing the number of expanded nodes in the search. Macro-FF also includes implementation enhancements for reducing space and CPU...
متن کاملFf-nano, short functionalized nanorods derived from Ff (f1, fd, or M13) filamentous bacteriophage
F-specific filamentous phage of Escherichia coli (Ff: f1, M13, or fd) are long thin filaments (860 nm × 6 nm). They have been a major workhorse in display technologies and bionanotechnology; however, some applications are limited by the high length-to-diameter ratio of Ff. Furthermore, use of functionalized Ff outside of laboratory containment is in part hampered by the fact that they are genet...
متن کاملff ecting Cooperation ∗
There is a large repeated games literature illustrating how future interactions provide incentives for cooperation. Much of this literature assumes public monitoring: players always observe precisely the same thing. Even slight deviations from public monitoring to private monitoring that incorporate differences in players’ observations dramatically complicate coordination. Equilibria with priva...
متن کاملProductivity Di ff erences ∗
Many technologies used by the LDCs are developed in the OECD economies and are designed to make optimal use of the skills of these richer countries’ workforces. Differences in the supply of skills create a mismatch between the requirements of these technologies and the skills of LDC workers, and lead to low productivity in the LDCs. Even when all countries have equal access to new technologies,...
متن کاملSome early stirrings (1950 ff.) of concern about environmental mutagens.
Perhaps it would be of interest to members of the Environmental Mutagen Society (EMS) to eavesdrop on my correspondence with H. J. Muller almost 50 years ago. I will, for the most part, let the letters speak for themselves, with a few brief comments and footnotes. Perhaps most remarkable is the pace of correspondence, which is a match for email today; perhaps the US Post Office was using its fa...
