چکیده
This paper falls within the scope of current concerns for scientific and technical research, relating to structures made composite materials, recognized their mechanical, thermal chemical or erosive resistance characteristics. In this case, study is characterized by analysis bearing capacity some composites: a) with fibers applied along them, b) in a certain direction, c) direction perpendicular fibers, d) stability structure e) f) combined stress.

Comparative Study of Steel and Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete Composites
Concrete is most widely used construction material in the world. Fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) is a concrete in which small and discontinuous fibers are dispersed uniformly. The fibers used in FRC may be of different materials like steel, G.I., carbon, glass, aramid, asbestos, polypropylene, jute etc. The addition of these fibers into concrete mass can dramatically increase the compressive st...
متن کاملComparative evaluation between glass and polyethylene fiber reinforced composites: A review of the current literature
Background Fiber reinforced composite (FRC) is a promising class of material that gives clinicians alternative treatment options. There are many FRC products available in the market based on either glass or polyethylene fiber type. The aim of this study was to present a comparison between glass and polyethylene fiber reinforced composites based on available literature review. Material and Met...
متن کاملCarbon Fiber Reinforced Bismaleimide Composites
Bismaleimide (BMI) resins are developed very rapidly due to the demands of the defense and aerospace industries. They are cross-linked polymers which process like epoxy resins but have an upper use temperature of 230°C, compared to the epoxy upper use temperature of 175°C. Also due to the available intrinsic properties of BMI resins such as higher thermal stability and lower toxicity than those...
متن کاملMeasurement of Residual Stresses in Fiber Reinforced Composites Based on X-Ray Diffraction
1. ABSTRACT X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements have been made to determine residual stresses in embedded Al particles placed between the first and second ply of both unidirectional and fabric graphite/PMR-15 composite specimens. In order to further verify the results obtained, the effect of externally applied four-point bending on the measured strains and stresses in the Al inclusions was inv...
