Solvent-Mediated Structural Evolution Mechanism from Cs4PbBr6 to CsPbBr3 Crystals

چکیده

The study of the solvent-mediated structural evolution mechanism Cs4PbBr6 powders prepared using solvothermal method is presented. with a rhombohedral structure and an intense green emission (i.e., mainly due to presence complex defect states in forbidden gap), which stable its solid-state form, but distinct behavior observed different dispersions, easily detectable when irradiated ultraviolet (UV) light. Depending on polarity solvent, change color from red observed, Our findings suggest that solvent affects surface decomposition process, leading composition, crystal shape. This peculiar plays pivotal role control properties Cs4PbBr6, this study, therefore, offers fundamental understanding needed for potential future applications.

This communication describes a new method to achieve reversible light-induced chemical composition and phase structural transitions from polyvinylpyrrolidone-capped orthorhombic CsPbBr3 to tetragonal CsPb2Br5 nanosheets or vice versa.
