Nanoalumina sulfonic acid catalyzed rapid N-formylation under solvent-free conditions
A rapid and chemoselective method for the N-formylation of structurally diverse anilines with formic acid using nanoalumina sulfonic acid (NASA) at 70oC under solvent-free condition has been developed. The catalyst was found to be compatible with different functional groups and the formylation proceeded smoothly with anilines bearing electron withdrawing as well as electron donating substituents.
متن کاملSynthesis of electron-poor N-Vinylimidazole derivatives catalyzed by Silica nanoparticles under solvent-free conditions
Protonation of the highly reactive 1:1 intermediates, produced in the reaction between triphenylphosphine and acetylenic esters, by NH-acids such as azathioprine, imidazole or theophylline leads to the formation of vinyltriphenylphosphonium salts, which undergo a Michael addition reaction with a conjugate base to produce phosphorus ylides. Silica nanoparticles (silica NPs were prepared by therm...

متن کاملAmine formylation via carbon dioxide recycling catalyzed by a simple and efficient heterogeneous palladium catalyst.
A simple and efficient Pd/Al2O3-NR-RD catalyst was prepared by depositing palladium on a shape controllable Al2O3-NR support through a two-step process that involves hydrothermal synthesis of Al2O3-NRs followed by reductive-deposition of palladium. This catalyst showed high activity in the catalytic formylation of amines by CO2-H2 under mild conditions with up to 96% yield.
