Abstract Developing organic field-effect transistor (OFET) biosensors for customizable detection of biomarkers many diseases would provide a low-cost and convenient tool both biological studies clinical diagnosis. In this work, design principles the OFET transducer were derived to relate signal-to-noise ratio ( SNR ) device-performance parameters.
