Solar Thermal Collector System with Parabolic Collector for Applications in Organic Rankine Cycle: Design, Manufacturing and Testing

Generating power using an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) has the advantage of converting waste energy into useful power. This technology can utilize various low-level heat sources such as biomass, engine heat, geothermal and solar, it significantly reduces thermal pollution well reliance on fossil fuels. In this research, a parabolic collector with tube length 18.12 meters was designed manufactured. The results showed that trough reach temperature 56.6℃ water flow rate 0.042kg/s, from initial 28.2℃ during 2-hour test. average turbine output 430.04 W in theoretical calculations 248.57 reality for ORC system. highest efficiency achieved at inlet 63.5℃ pressure 10.5 bar, value 4.489%. Overall, effectively contribute to reducing fuels pollution.
