Solar Hybrid System Component Study in Low Concentrated Sunlight

The solar energy is increasingly used as a renewable source. Raising the efficiency of conversion from to useful (electric and thermal) represents an important research direction in domain. Using hybrid systems for electric thermal cogeneration can be solution. In this study, system (HS) designed, manufactured, implemented, experimentally tested under concentrated sunlight with concentration ratio 25 suns, obtained using Fresnel lens concentrator. HS comprises four photovoltaic cells (CPVs), thermoelectric generators (TEGs), collector (STC). studied three configurations exposed surface: only CPV active area, area ceramic support, support covered graphite sheet. Results reveal that each component affected by surface. If efficiencies CPVs decrease 32.3% 30.8% first configuration last one, TEGs STC increase 0.12% 0.44 26.3% 52.0%, respectively. Increasing 33 power increases almost 31%, but decreases slightly, instead increase.
