Soğuk Sıcaklıkta Fosfin Fümigasyonunun Karanfil üzerindeki Frankliniella occidentalis Perg. (Thysanoptera: Thripidae)'e Karşı Etkinliği

Many pests cause serious economic losses in the carnation cultivation areas Turkey. Western flower thrips, Frankliniella occidentalis Perg. (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) is harmful on by feeding both leaves and flowers listed as a quarantine pest some exporting countries. Due to invasions of western thrips chemical control measures are traditionally used phytosanitary measure for flower cut carnation, however, traditional insecticides do not provide its satisfactory control. Phosphine has been investigated an alternative flowers. In this study toxic effect phosphine gas egg, larva, pupa, adult stages were determined using QuickPHlo-R® aluminium phosphide formulation (77.5%) quick generator cold storage facility Korkuteli district Antalya province Turkey 2018. The doses 1.1, 2.2 3.3 g m-3 granules 48 hours exposure time under low temperature conditions (6 ⁰C). Adult stage F. at 1.1 lowest mortality rate with 75.71% while highest was observed h 100% all biological occidentalis. It concluded that fumigation technology against could be easily, especially meet exporter country flower.
