Software Defined Network based Load Balancing for Network Performance Evaluation

Load balancing distributes incoming network traffic across multiple controllers that improve the availability of internet for users. The load is responsible to maintain users in 24 hours by 7 days a week. However, become unavailable since balancer inflexibility, costly, and non-programmable settings adjustment especially managing congestion. An increasing user using mobile devices cloud facilities, current has limitations demands deployment Software-Defined Network (SDN). SDN decouples control, applications, services, forwarding roles; hence makes more flexible, affordable, programmable. Furthermore, it been found performs intelligent action, efficient maintains better QoS (Quality Service) performance. This study proposes application SDN-based Balancing provides pre-defined servers server-farm receive arrived Internet Protocol (IP) data packet from various clients same number loads process orders each server. Experiments have conducted Mininet™ based on several scenarios (Scenario A, Scenario B, C) topologies. Parameters used evaluate are throughput, delay, jitter. Findings indicated scenario A gives high B C produce low jitter values produces lowest delay. impact brings multi-path adaptive direction finding best route
