Social support network for young mothers of children diagnosed with congenital syphilis

Abstract This study of multiple cases aimed to analyze the social support network young mothers children diagnosed with congenital syphilis in a municipality Ceará six participants. Information was collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using cross-case synthesis analytical technique. The women’s comprised family members, people outside family, facilities. We identified heterogeneous bonds as essential gestational postpartum periods after diagnosis syphilis. vertical transmission is permeated by subjectivities from understanding context involving networks, interpersonal relationships, for their children.
