Social-Harmony within Aceh Society: An Analysis towards Religious Tolerance of Muslim and Non-Muslim Communities in Banda Aceh

This paper examines how social harmonization can be realized in Aceh since the independence of Republic Indonesia until now. The people are a pluralistic society, although majority Muslim, problem conflict between religious communities is rare. Even after province implemented Islamic Sharia, inter-religious harmony remained closely intertwined. Therefore, there need for study that looks at aspects tolerance, especially daily behavior terms Muslim and non-Muslim Banda city. shows tolerance running as it has other provinces even though been designated an area implements Shari'a. seen from interactions exist Muslims non-Muslims various community activities.
