Social Environmental Factor of Unwanted Pregnancy: An Experience of Mothers and Adolescents with An Unwanted Pregnancy

Unwanted pregnancy among adolescents is a global issue in urban and rural areas around the world. There are many factors that influence incident of unwanted pregnancy. This study intends to identify social environmental cause pregnancies adolescents. A qualitative research design was employed gain mothers’ adolescents’ perspectives on their experiences Semi-structured interviews with five Malay mothers took place government shelter home, workplaces, homes Selangor. thematic analysis analyse results. The findings indicate four themes causing (a) family structure, (b) couple problems, (c) father’s attention, (d) peer pressure. All significant influencing provided insights about hard times, challenges, stressors make feel uncomfortable stressed, hence they find someone else help them ease such feelings. Although worldwide issue, caregiver should pay more attention because it will result stress disrupted structure have an increased risk These may specially benefit from specific preventive programmes order reduce number adverse outcomes.
