چکیده
Small superimposed radial oscillations for a class of damaged limited elastic, incompressible, isotropic and homogeneous thick-walled circular cylindrical tube are examined. Both the damage function considered elastic depend only on first invariant $$ I_{1} $$ left Cauchy–Green deformation tensor. The present work puts some light in context surgical procedure angioplasty, used especially to treat cardiovascular diseases. Our simplified assumption allows much faster analytical computation comparably accurate results. examples three material models presented, namely Arruda–Boyce, Gent, Demiray. further investigated thin membrane, above explored. Universal relations found membranes. obtained results matched with clinical data existing literature. It appears that pressure ratio virgin arterial tissue is higher before angioplasty vice versa. A similar trend frequency also follows.

Elastic Tubes: Modeling Elastic Deformation of Hollow Tubes
The Cosserat theory of elastic rods has been used in a wide range of application domains to model and simulate the elastic deformation of thin rods. It is physically accurate and its implementations are efficient for interactive simulation. However, one requirement of using Cosserat rod theory is that the tubular object must have rigid cross-sections that are small compared to its length. This ...
متن کاملA variational approach to the problem of oscillations of an elastic half cylinder
This paper is devoted to the spectral theory (more precisely, tothe variational theory of the spectrum) of guided waves in anelastic half cylinder. We use variational methods to investigateseveral aspects of propagating waves, including localization (seeFigure 1), existence criteria and the formulas to find them. Weapproach the problem using two complementary methods: Thevariational methods fo...

INTRODUCTION The subject of the experiment was bacterial nanocellulose, a natural polymer produced by bacteria - Gluconacetobacter xylinus. Following a specific modification process a cartilage-like material for restoration of damaged tissues may be produced. The obtained implants with excellent biocompatibility, mouldability, biophysical and chemical properties perfectly fit the needs of recon...
متن کاملExploring the Superimposed Oscillations Parameter Space
The space of parameters characterizing an inflationary primordial power spectrum with small superimposed oscillations is explored using Monte Carlo methods. The most interesting region corresponding to high frequency oscillations is included in the analysis. The oscillations originate from some new physics taking place at the beginning of the inflationary phase and characterized by the new ener...
