چکیده

This paper presents a detailed and accurate small-signal analysis model for four-terminal low-voltage direct current (LVDC) distribution network with distributed secondary control strategy. To tackle the contradiction between power sharing accuracy average voltage recovery ability of source converters (VSCs), strategy is adopted, which based on consensus algorithm local voting protocol. Furthermore, to analyze stability LVDC proposed strategy, formulated derived from various non-linear state-space sub-models. The time-domain simulation electromagnetic are carried out verify validity model. Based this model, influence rules main eigenvalues summarized variation PI DC line parameters. Time-domain simulations conducted in PSCAD used validate operational limits controllers obtained analysis.

Power System Small Signal Stability Analysis Based on Test Signal

In this paper, a method based on some test signal (Test Signal Method) is developed to find the dominant oscillating frequencies and dampings associated with any generator in the system. The method can be realized easily by time domain simulation using electromechanical transient programs. The theoretical background of the test signal method is the theory of mechanical admittance and mode ident...

Modelling and Simulation of Low-Head Hydro Turbine for Small Signal Stability Analysis in Power System

The hydro turbine dynamics have a considerable influence on the dynamic stability of power system. In the study of dynamic stability, the system is modeled by the linear differential equations (small  signal analysis). Small signal stability of power systems is needed in all conditions and only is dependent on the conditions of power system performance before commotion occurrence. This paper pr...

Study of Torsional Interactions in Multi-terminal Dc Systems through Small Signal Stability Analysis

Turbo-generators can be subjected to negatively damped subsynchronous frequency oscillations caused by the interactions between the generator and the external network. This phenomena is termed as subsynchronous resonance(SSR) and it is well known that series compensated ac lines are the major contributors. In recent years, it has been established that HVDC systems with converter controllers can...

A harmony search-based approach for real-time volt & var control in distribution network by considering distributed generations units

In recent decade, development of telecommunications infrastructure has led to rapid exchange of data between the distribution network components and the control center in many developed countries. These changes, considering the numerous benefits of the Distributed Generators (DGs), have made more motivations for distribution companies to utilize these kinds of generators more than ever before. ...
