Small-Signal Modeling of AC Power Electronic Systems: Critical Review and Unified Modeling

چکیده
The harmonic state-space (HSS), the dynamic phasor (DP), and generalized dq (GDQ) modeling are three widely used methods for small-signal analysis of ac power electronic systems. By reviewing their principles deriving mathematical relationships, this paper proposes a unified framework all approaches. reveals that linearization transformation can be exchanged flexibly in process, initial phase takes role transforming GDQ model into HSS or DP model. Case studies on three-phase voltage-source converter unbalanced grids provided validation. relationships verified by proofs time-domain simulations. frequency-domain is further validated through frequency scan experiments. Insights recommendations from engineering perspectives finally discussed.

Small-Signal Modeling of a Single-Switch AC/DC Power-Factor-Correction Circuit
In this paper, a small-signal model for a new singleswitch single-stage switched-mode power-factor-correction (PFC) converter is presented. The model is obtained by applying the small-signal perturbation technique to the circuit equations derived from the state-space averaging method. By applying the perturbation and averaging techniques over one switching cycle, the dc and small-signal equival...

Having sufficient and accurate understanding about kinetics of phenomena, could be an important reason for further technological progresses. Finding a white-box mathematical model for weight vs. time curves of Electrophoretic Deposition (EPD) using large and small signal analysis has been studied thoroughly in the present investigation. Weight-Time curves of nano-Mullite suspension have been tr...
متن کاملA Synergetic Approach to the Modeling of Power Electronic Systems
We introduce the Synergetic approach, which brings great improvements in computer modeling and simulation of power electronic systems. Essentially, the process involves synthesis of control laws that result in collapse of (at least two) initially high-dimension models into a single model of lower-dimension. The technique requires creation of state space attractors, artificial manifolds, that re...
متن کاملModeling and Implementation of Controller for Switched Reluctance Motor with Ac Small Signal Model
(ABSTRACT) As traditional control schemes, open-loop Hysteresis and closed-loop pulse-width-modulation (PWM) have been used for the switched reluctance motor (SRM) current controller. The Hysteresis controller induces large unpleasant audible noises because it needs to vary the switching frequency to maintain constant Hysteresis current band. In contract, the PWM controller is very quiet but di...
متن کاملHigh-Frequency Small Signal AC and Noise Modeling of MOSFETs for RF IC Design
In this paper, high-frequency (HF) AC and noise modeling of MOSFETs for radio frequency (RF) integrated circuit (IC) design is discussed. A subcircuit RF model incorporating the HF effects of parasitics is presented. This model is compared with the measured data for both parameter and characteristics. Good model accuracy is achieved against measurements for a 0.25 m RF CMOS technology. The HF n...
