AbstrakTujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan landasan pemikiran Sirajuddin Zar; menganalisis faktor-faktor mempengaruhi Zar tentang kosmologi; dan menjelasakan corak kosmologi Zar. Penelitian merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan penggunaan metode deskriptif-analitis, induksi holistika. Data primer kajian karya yaitu Konsep Penciptaan Alam dalam Pemikiran Islam Sains al-Qur’an. didukung data sekunder berupa buku jurnal berkaitan tajuk ini. Hasil menjelaskan beberapa hal konstruksi yaitu; pertama, berlandaskan sumber al-Qur’an, para filsuf masa klasik ilmu sains. kedua, dipengaruhi oleh gurunya Harun Nasution, Quraish Shihab Ahmad Baiquni serta mereferensi teologi Islam, filsafat tafsir Ketiga, diposisikan sebagai rasional empiris.Kata Kunci: Konstruksi, Kosmologi, AbstractThe purpose of this article is to describe the rationale analyze factors influencing Zar's thoughts on cosmology; explain cosmological thinking style This research library using descriptive-analytical, induction, and holistic methods.
